History of the education of workers and peasants: another history affirming other matrices of human formation

Abstract

O texto apresenta reflexões sobre os vinte cinco anos da Educação do Campo, sobre o que temos a celebrar em face das disputas políticas radicais que enfrenta a Educação do Campo na atualidade: por que projetos? por que história? por que políticas da Educação do Campo celebrar: desde a Educação Infantil à EJA, da Educação Básica até o Ensino Superior e da formação inicial e continuada de educadores e educadoras. O autor nos convida a celebrar os movimentos sociais educadores, sujeitos de outra história de outra educação, afirmando as matrizes mais radicais, mais humanizantes: terra, território, trabalho, teto, moradia, comida, vida, identidades culturais, étnicas, raciais, de gênero, de classe. Outra história de outra educação que exige ser celebrada com seus outros sujeitos em movimentos de libertação: operários, camponeses, indígenas, negros, quilombolas, de gênero, de classe.

Abstract

The text presents reflections on the twenty-five years of Rural Education, on what we have to celebrate in the face of the radical political disputes that Rural Education faces today: why projects? why story? why Rural Education policies should be celebrated: from Early Childhood Education to EJA, from Basic Education to Higher Education and the initial and continuing training of male and female educators. The author invites us to celebrate educational social movements, subjects of another history of another education, affirming the most radical, most humanizing matrices: land, territory, work, roof, housing, food, life, cultural, ethnic, racial, gender, class. Another story of another education that demands to be celebrated with its other subjects in liberation movements: workers, peasants, indigenous people, black people, quilombolas, gender, class.
