A aprendizagem baseada em problemas: uma proposta para motivar o estudo de geometria analítica no Ensino Médio

Problem-based learning: a proposal to motivate the study of analytical geometry in High School

Resumo

A prática que inspirou a escrita deste relato de experiência teve como objetivo investigar de que forma a Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas pode motivar os alunos do Ensino Médio a estudarem Geometria Analítica. Foi desenvolvida com 20 alunos de uma turma de 1ª série do curso Técnico em Pesca Integrado ao Ensino Médio, de um campus do IFES. Os alunos resolveram um problema que contemplou características reais da cidade de Piúma/ES, como o verão e o aumento de turistas nessa estação do ano. Com tal prática, foi possível identificar os seguintes fatores que possivelmente motivaram os estudantes: a conexão entre a matemática e o cotidiano, a interação entre os alunos, a dinâmica das aulas e o uso do google earth.

Abstract

The practice that taught to learn to learn how to learn to learn the high school way to learn can motivate high school students to learn how to learn to learn geometry Ana. It was developed with 20 students from a 1st grade class of the Technical Course in Fishing Integrated to High School, from an IFES campus. The students solve a problem that includes the real characteristics of the city of Piúma/ES, such as summer and the increase in tourists this season. With this practice, it was possible to identify the following factors that possibly motivated the students: the connection between mathematics and everyday life, the interaction between students, the dynamics of classes and the use of google earth.
