Educação Especial em Escolas do Campo: Um Estudo sobre o Sistema Municipal de Ensino de Marabá, PA

Resumo

Este trabalho analisa a interface entre a Educação do Campo e a Educação Especial, busca conhecer essa relação em escolas do campo de distritos rurais de Marabá, PA. Realizou-se a pesquisa numa perspectiva dialética em que há unidade entre dados quantitativos e qualitativos, considerados articulados e inseparáveis na construção do objeto. O estudo evidenciou que há a interface entre a educação especial e a educação do campo nas diretrizes políticas e iniciativas práticas que sinalizam diálogos; os serviços educacionais especializados são restritos nas escolas do campo, o trabalho pedagógico é precarizado, dado o hiato entre o texto legal e sua implementação. Conclui-se que há oferta da Educação Especial em escolas do campo, mas que ainda é incipiente para atender toda a demanda existente.

Special education in rural schools: a study on education system in Marabá-PA

This paper analyzes the interface between the Rural Education and Special Education, and intends to know how they are related in the rural school districts in Marabá, PA. The research has been conducted in a dialectical perspective in which qualitative and quantitative data are articulated and inseparable in the process of object construction. The study revealed the existence of an interface between special education and rural education in the policy guidelines and also some practical initiatives demonstrate the existence of dialogue about it; the specialized educational services are restricted to the rural schools, the pedagogical work is precarious because of the gap between the legal text and its implementation. It has concluded the existence of Special Education in rural schools, but it is still insufficient to attend all existing demand.
