A Antropologia e a Formação de Professores

Resumo

A formação de professores no Brasil é um campo em constante disputa, no qual alguns saberes são valorizados em detrimento de outros. Neste trabalho, buscamos debater sobre a contribuição da antropologia para a formação docente, tanto no nível teórico, a partir da discussão sobre a diversidade cultural no espaço escolar, quanto no nível prático por meio do desenvolvimento da pesquisa etnográfica. Afirmamos que o conhecimento produzido no campo antropológico mostra-se fundamental para a formação de professores, em especial, considerando a realidade brasileira, marcada por uma profunda diversidade e desigualdade sociocultural. Também problematizamos a formação daquele que leciona antropologia nos cursos de formação de professores, por compreendermos que tal profissional deva desenvolver sua docência articulada à produção do conhecimento antropológico em educação.

Anthropology and teacher education

Teacher training in Brazil is a field in constant dispute, in which some knowledge is valued to the detriment of others. In this paper seeking we discuss the contribution of anthropology to teacher training, both at the theoretical level, with the discussion on cultural diversity in the school, as in the practical level through the development of ethnographic research. We affirm that the knowledge produced in anthropological field is crucial for the training of teachers, especially considering the Brazilian reality, marked by profound socio-cultural diversity and inequality. We also problematize the formation of the one who teaches anthropology courses in teacher training, because we understand that he should develop his professional teaching articulated the production of anthropological knowledge in education.
