The permanence of doctors in Natural Sciences in Basic Education in the state of Goiás

Abstract

A presente pesquisa objetiva refletir sobre os aspectos que sustentam a permanência do professor doutor em Ciência da Natureza, em sala de aula, na Educação Básica da Rede Estadual de Educação de Goiás. Essa pesquisa tem teor qualitativo e a análise dos dados foi realizada a partir da Análise Textual Discursiva. Ao refletir sobre os aspectos que sustentam a permanência do professor doutor em Ciência da Natureza, em sala de aula, tem-se um misto de opiniões onde alguns defendem a permanência devido ao fato de terem predestinação para a profissão com influência familiar ou ainda por ter necessidade de ter estabilidade ou ainda de estarem na Educação Básica de forma transitória até conseguirem migrar para a pesquisa ou para o Ensino Superior.

Abstract

The present research aims to reflect on the aspects that support the permanence of the PhD teacher in Natural Science, in the classroom, in the Basic Education of the State Education Network of Goiás. This research has a qualitative content and the data analysis was carried out from the Discursive Textual Analysis. When reflecting on the aspects that support the permanence of the PhD professor in Natural Science in the classroom, there is a mix of opinions where some defend the permanence due to the fact that they have a predestination for the profession with family influence or even because they have need to have stability or even to be in Basic Education in a transitory way until they manage to migrate to research or higher education.
