Resumo

Esta resenha tem como objetivo apresentar uma leitura crítica da obra É hora de mudarmos de via: as lições do coronavírus, do pensador Edgar Morin.  No livro, o autor tece reflexões pertinentes sobre a pandemia e as diversas questões que estão presentes neste momento atual. Tais reflexões são seminais para pensarmos melhor a conjuntura pandêmica, uma vez que o autor as reverbera por um viés complexo, com provocações engendradas no seu pensamento e sob sua ótica, interpelada pela atual crise. Em uma leitura curiosa e provocativa, a obra nos incita a refletir quais lições poderíamos desdobrar em um momento de incertezas e instabilidades, ou seja, o autor destaca as lições da pandemia, os desafios possíveis pós-coronavírus e, por último, a necessidade de mudarmos de Via. Além disso, Edgar Morin, em 100 anos de vida, relembra os acontecimentos que marcaram o seu pensamento e transformaram as suas ideias, logo, o pensador, em uma vasta experiência de vida, aponta-nos, com destreza, ensinamentos profícuos.

Abstract

This review aims to present a critical reading of the work Changing Paths: lessons from the coronavirus, from the thinker Edgar Morin. In the book, the author weaves pertinent reflections on the pandemic and the several issues that are present in this current moment. Such reflections are seminal for us to better think about the pandemic situation, since the author reverberates them through a complex bias, with provocations engendered in his thinking and under his perspective, challenged by the current crisis. In a curious and provocative way, the book urges us to reflect on what lessons we could learn in moments of uncertainty and instability, that is, the author highlights the lessons of the pandemic, the possible post-coronavirus challenges and, finally, the need to change the path. In addition, Edgar Morin, in 100 years of life, remembers the events that marked his thinking and transformed his ideas, then, Morin, in a vast life experience, deftly points out fruitful teachings.
