Contribuições da produção científica para o diagnóstico, prevenção e intervenção junto ao bullying no contexto escolar

Resumo

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo apresentar uma análise da produção científica sobre o bullying escolar e as contribuições relativas ao diagnóstico/caracterização, prevenção e/ou intervenção junto ao fenômeno bullying no contexto escolar, disponíveis nos sites da CAPES e do Scielo no período de 2000 a 2011. As análises evidenciaram que, em sua grande maioria, os trabalhos versaram sobre a caracterização/diagnóstico, sendo pequena a quantidade de trabalhos que tratavam sobre a prevenção e/ou intervenção junto ao fenômeno no contexto escolar. Os estudos sobre a prevenção e/ou intervenção apontaram para a necessidade de investimento na formação dos profissionais que atuam no espaço escolar para melhor prepará-los para a identificação, prevenção e intervenção junto ao fenômeno bullying, o que precisa ser melhor avaliado nas propostas curriculares pelas instituições formadoras e nos cursos de formação continuada.

This work had the objective of presenting an analysis both of scientific literature on school bullying and contributions regarding diagnosis/characterization, prevention and/or intervention in the bullying phenomenon at the school context, available on the websites of CAPES and Scielo from 2000 to 2011. The analysis evidenced that mostly the works were about characterization/diagnosis, with a small amount of works dealing with prevention and/or intervention in the phenomenon at school. Studies about prevention and/or intervention pointed to the necessity of investment in the formation of professionals who work at the school space in order to better prepare them for the identification, prevention and intervention in the bullying phenomenon, which should be better evaluated in the curricular proposals offered by educational institutions and in the continuing education courses.
