Policies for EJA on the national and international Agendas: intersections between PNE (2014-2024) and the 2030 Agenda

Abstract

O artigo versa sobre as articulações entre a política educacional para a Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) e as agendas internacionais, especialmente a Agenda 2030 em seus Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável – ODS, evidenciando tendências de continuidade que se interrelacionam com o comando global. O objetivo desse estudo é refletir sobre as metas do atual PNE (2014-2024), identificando as interseções com o ODS-4 direcionado para a EJA. Trata-se de pesquisa documental, voltada aos documentos oficiais da Agenda 2030 e a Lei n. 13.005/2014. Os resultados apontam um alinhamento e continuidade entre as agendas nacional e internacional, cujas metas focam na alfabetização e na formação técnica/profissional.

Abstract: The article deals with the articulations between the educational policy for Youth and Adult Education (EJA in Portuguese) and the international agendas, especially the 2030 Agenda in its Objectives of Sustainable Development (ODS, in Portuguese), showing trends of continuity that interrelate with the global command. The objective of this study is to reflect on the goals of the current PNE (2014-2024), identifying the intersections with the OSD-4 directed to the EJA. This is a documentary research, focused on the official documents of the 2030 Agenda and Law number 13.005/2014. The results point to an alignment and continuity between the national and international agendas, whose goals focus on literacy and technical/professional training.
