“O Patinho Feio” and “Pretty Girl from the Ribbon of Ribbon”: Teaching Literature and Combating Bullying in Early Childhood Education

Resumo

A presente pesquisa visa discutir sob a égide de obras literárias infantis a importância do ensino de Literatura na Educação Infantil. Por este motivo, fizemos um recorte para esta pesquisa, usando as obras literárias “O Patinho Feio” e “Menina Bonita do Laço de Fita” para refletir sobre possibilidades de instrução e combate ao preconceito e ao Bullyng, que são tão presentes nas escolas em todos os níveis de ensino. A metodologia que conduziu a pesquisa foi a Bibliográfica, com análise descritiva, objetivando a averiguação nas obras analisadas das possíveis contribuições para o combate ao Bullyng e ao preconceito nas escolas; dando vazão à efetivação de um Ensino de Literatura significativo, ao processo contínuo de formação de leitores e, em especial, ao Letramento Literário, buscando nas tramas do texto a resolução para problemas sociais.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss under the aegis of children's literary works the importance of teaching Literature in Early Childhood Education. For this reason, we made a cut for this research, using the literary works “O Patinho Feio” and “Pretty Girl from the Ribbon of Ribbon” to reflect on possibilities for instruction and combating prejudice and bullyng, which are so present in schools in all levels of education. The methodology that conducted the research was the Bibliographical, with descriptive analysis, aiming to investigate in the analyzed works the possible contributions to the fight against Bullyng and prejudice in schools; giving rise to the realization of a significant Teaching of Literature, to the continuous process of training readers and, in particular, to Literary Literacy, seeking the resolution of social problems in the plots of the text.
